Delhi Climate has great variation throughout the year. Climate is extremely hot during the months of May and June. Summers which are usually very dry and hot are marked by some cool showers too which cool but do not sustain for long. Monsoons are good. Unlike cities like Mumbai, Delhi monsoons allow easy movement and people can actually enjoy the showers. The weather is usually good and not sticky. Even during cloudy days, the weather is very comfortable. Winters starts in the month of November and continues till end of February. The winters can get quite chilly. It never snows in Delhi though. Most of winters in Delhi is quite enjoyable and the adventurous ones don’t hesitate to have great times shopping, eating ice cream, or going for day picnics. Foggy days are a nightmare for commuters and during those days extra care has to be taken to avoid safety hazards.

Temperatures in Delhi vary between 3º C to 46º C.
The average temperature in Summers ranges from 25º C to 46º C.

Delhi’s climate is greatly affected due to the presence of the river Yamuna and Himalayas in the North. Green spaces like forest cover and parks along with the water bodies like lakes, reservoirs and rivers help maintain habitable climatic conditions.

The preferred time to come to Delhi is during the early months of Winter between October and November or the early month of Summers during February-March. Travel enthusiasts may try different seasons and climatic conditions and enjoy the different colors that Delhi has to offer. Food, Shopping, Outings, Wildlife, Festivals vary as per the climatic conditions.

End of the day, all seasons can be enjoyed in their fervor in this wonderful City.
